- 2017held every April
The April conference on clinical immunology brings together in-person and online participants and speakers, including experts from other countries.
On 1–3 April 2027 the jubilee X annual scientific and practical conference with international participation, “Beyond immunodeficiency: masks of a complex diagnosis,” will take place. It includes the School of Laboratory and Genetic Diagnosis of Primary Immunodeficiencies and the School for Nurses.
The conference will cover current questions in the diagnosis and treatment of inborn errors of immunity and autoinflammatory diseases in children and adults. Some talks will address non-infectious manifestations of inborn errors of immunity that matter across medical specialties. A distinct part of the program is reserved for advances in theoretical immunology and for how they can be used in clinical practice.
The meeting invites specialists in clinical immunology and allergology, rheumatology, oncology, hematology, neonatology, genetics, and infectious diseases, as well as researchers in theoretical immunology, molecular and cell biology, and genetics. It is included in the plan of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

National Association of Experts in Primary Immunodeficiencies
- 2013NAEPID founded
NAEPID brings together specialists in theoretical and clinical immunology. The association helps physicians diagnose inborn errors of immunity and works to improve patients’ lives. Its main lines of work are physician education, research, a patient registry, and professional exchange.
Regional education programs
- 11cities in 2025–2026
- 2027programs continue
“Clinical immunology in the practice of today’s physician” is a series of visiting conferences and thematic schools for physicians of different specialties. The sessions review difficult clinical cases and discuss the care of patients with inborn errors of immunity.
In 2025–2026 the meetings were held in Vladimir, Chelyabinsk, Vologda, Kemerovo, Penza, Kaliningrad, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Ulyanovsk, Tyumen, and Tula. The regional programs will continue in 2027. Geography and topics follow requests from the regions.
International Summer School on Primary Immunodeficiencies
- 25participants in 2026
- 11countries
- 5professors
- 2016held every year
The school brings together participants and faculty from different countries.

Webinars and educational video
Webinars for a medical audience are arranged at the request of the regions. They discuss individual diseases and difficult clinical cases with physicians of different specialties. In the first half of 2026 this format was used for “Differential diagnosis of lymphoproliferative syndrome.”
Cycles planned before the end of the year are “The past and future of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis” and “Combined immunodeficiencies. New horizons in diagnosis and treatment.”
A separate format is the openly available video podcast “Immunology — from the simple to the complex, and further.” Episodes of 20–40 minutes cover the manifestations of inborn errors of immunity, diagnosis, referral pathways, and current approaches to therapy.
Registry of patients with primary immunodeficiencies
- 7,000+patients in the registry
- 2017registry project
Russian hospitals and physicians in clinical immunology take part in the registry. It brings together data on diagnosis, molecular genetic characteristics, clinical manifestations, and treatment. Its purpose is a database that helps recognize inborn errors of immunity earlier and care for patients more precisely.
Working together in 2027
The association invites a conversation about support for its projects: the jubilee April conference, regional conferences and thematic schools, the international summer school on primary immunodeficiencies, webinars and educational video, and the patient registry and research projects.
An introductory meeting helps choose a project, discuss its aims, and agree a form of participation. Information about the association and its contacts is on the NAEPID website.
